List three things every day that make me happy! :D

1. Spoke with the lawyer today and insisted on getting exactly what I’d asked for & after 20 minutes (which seemed like a year) of assertiveness, so far it seems to have worked. Who knew? Politeness really isn’t the solution to all life’s problems. (you were wrong Mom)
2. Sudden proof of my painfully slow spiritual growth: happy to disregard the provocations of the stupid.
3. Seriously thinking of rejoining the real world. Damn, I feel good today! ;D

1. Bright sunlight today fought through mostly a day of rain and my “Hope” card drawn yesterday thanks to Toomuchcoffee’s tarot post! :D
2. Oranges for breakfast put me in a happy, hopeful, energetic mood.
3. Still 4.5 days left before the end of Month 1 ! (yikes…)

1. The mountains across the horizon with their new snow look so beautiful today; I awoke at 7:30am and saw them epitomizing the golden hour.
2.Dreamed about walking last night. Ha! ;b I guess it’s a start.
3. The cat purring at my elbow as I work.

1. A’s first week of classes is going pretty well.
2. Almost done cleaning the writing closet!! it’s been strange to revisit the past, & I still kept more than I tossed, but it was very satisfying shredding useless old documents, articles & clippings & also ceremonially burning old letters that didn’t rate preservation. It was even nice rereading a few that I’ve kept. Now I know what the mysteries look like that I’ve been carting around, and I’ve even organized them in alphanumeric order (not really).
3. New snow in the mountains, new rain on the plants, the cat frisking around with more energy, purring at my elbow, new hopes in the Inbox.

1. A’s success with his project yesterday!
2. Able to pay bills on time this month (mostly).
3. Small yellow finch who landed unexpectedly on one of the grassy garden pavingstones this morning.

1. Feeling happy to wake up in the morning.
2. The glorious winds.
3. Grasping the sense that it matters what I do.

1. Gloria, who I don’t see nearly enough of
2. Kathy, who I also don’t see nearly enough of
3. Ben, for his patience, and his love, even though I don’t feel I can return it.

1. Champagne!
2. Good food and wonderful family!
3. Sleep.. even though it’s eluding me

2. My new glass pots for the stove!
3. My loving father and mother who spoil me.

1. My beautiful, elderly cat is still hanging in there with bells on, has recovered from her indisposition so far and has even taken to stealing my desk chair.

2. A. came home early in a good mood today & helped me hang the New Year’s Christmas-lights amoeba on the front window, shared some of his new Bison Grass Vodka…

3. Lunch with my newly-arrived long-lost cousin tomorrow. Should be interesting.
