Remember birthdays and send cards

I am using my iCal calender on my computer. It is great because I impute all my friends birthdays and just told it to re-occur every year. I am currently only calling people because addresses of my friends are not permanent.

But on line only, way easier.

one I’m bringing with me to the party, the other I will be posting in time for it to be opened on, or before my nephew’s birthday!

I was in NYC for a week and missed my best friend Mike’s birthday. I sent him a text message. But, I need to think of some way to make it up to him.

It is my parents’ 35th wedding anniversary today. I sent them a bouquet of flowers. I think it’s the first time I ever recognized their anniversary. Now it’s on my calendar and I can send them something every year.

I always think, I’ll call when I get home, or I don’t have his or her cell phone number here, it’s at work. It’s not the remembering, it’s the calling I put off. I do care, though, I really do.

I do them all at once, for the whole month. Then I just slap on the stamp (over the date written in the corner) and send them so they’ll be on time. I love doing it, and my friends still love getting them.

sent a card to my brother in hawaii today.

of research into her/our family tree (Different biological fathers) so i asked her a while ago to send me everyone’s dates of births, which she did and I did nothing about… until today.

I’ve just copied and pasted them, and now I’m going to enter them onto my calendar so that I don’t forget :-)

So far I have sent three cards—two friends and my niece. Have one birthday left in January (my mom’s), so now I am focusing on getting a gift for that out on time.
