How to meet Taylor Swift by 1steph11

"Being in the right place at the right time can actually pay off!"

How I did it: I went to the Rascal Flatts concert in St.Louis in 2008 where Taylor was the opening act. My friend and I were determined to meet her and once she was finished with her set, I had to go to the bathroom. Once we came out of the bathroom, there was a wooden fence that blocks off the VIP/backstage section from the rest of the world. I told my friend we should go over and stand with the rest of the people over there.

Within twenty minutes, we were in.

She was definitely the sweetest person! She made you feel like she was one of your old friends you hadn’t seen in years! The man took our photo and when she looked at it, she was all "I don't look good in this one", so she took my camera and started to take pictures of us herself! She is definitely worth meeting!

Lessons & tips: When going to a concert, try to find out if she will be doing a meet and greet. I've heard that trying to show up early at a venue or staying after really does work, but I am not sure. I just joined a big group of fans outside the VIP section and she was willing to meet us.

    I love Taylor Swift she is my favorite singer ever i have all her songs memorized and everything and i am going to her concert on the 26 (TOMORROW AHHH) i am finally going to go to one of her concerts i am so excited and we are somewhere in the front (AHHH)I can’t wait! but i probably wont get to meet her :( :( :( (it’s so sad) (for me)

    It’s definately something I am definately going to do eventually. Even if its not in person, Im definately going to go to one of her concerts sometime in my life. Im an a massive fan of hers and her music is fantastic and shes so pretty, sweet, talented and so inspiring. Shes a great icon and I love her.
    I have her album fearless and Im gonna make her first album soon. Just have to wait until shes in the UK now, so I can see her :)
