What can I say?
My plan is to just be one musical son-of-a-gun.
I’ve already got flute, guitar, and piano on the burners.
Why not throw in some good ol’ bass, too?
:]
Of course, I don’t have a bass or any idea how to play one.
But at least it’s written down now.
So the next time I’m bored and I sign on here I can be like “Say, I wanted to do that, didn’t I.”
What can I say it is one of the first steps for me to being in a band. ANd I love the sound.
I learned in 5th grade. Lots of theory involed and it made learning electric guitar waaaay easy :]
I started playing Piano First, Guitar and then the love of my
Life the Bass. Not totally great but Once you understand the
Notation. You start the process of coming up with your own
Shit it’s amazing. It’s definitley worth Doing.
Don’t be affraid to pickup a book and teach yourself.
i should learn to play bass guitar because then i cant play at all lol!! so im going to “give up” until i learn and then i will reopen this goal and play bass guitar
A few years ago (think at least 7 years) i decided that i should play some instrument. At the time, i was (and i’m still) fond of the Red Hot Chili Peppers (specially Flea), Marcus Miller… So i settled for playing bass. This idea slowly grew up for 7 years, until i finally decide to actually DO something. Someone was getting rid of an old, old bass. An active, 4-string, dual mic Samick (don’t know anything about it). She has clearly seen better days, as the painting is peeling, the wood is in bad shape, and the electronics aren’t working. Plus she picks all the noise from any single eletronic appliance in the house.
But, what the hell, it’s better than nothing. I’m going to put all my useless (at that time) electronic classes to use and change and put an AOP in there, change the connectors and stuff… If i can ever get at least a decent sound, i’ll consider redo the painting… We’ll see…
