How to beat Portal
It made me 
"Favorite game!"
How I did it: I was proud that I did not have to use any cheats. I still need to go back and do all of the achievements and bonus maps though. My computer graphics are not good enough to read the graffiti on the walls, and there were a few times I got stuck and had to take a break from the game before I threw my computer out the window, but I really loved this game. I get frustrated with long games, so this was the perfect length to keep my interest.
Lessons & tips: Step away from it and think about it for a bit if you get stuck.

... Complete with: cake (no lie!), fish crackers, fish candies, pull apart licorice, and candy shelled peanut butter candies. These are all the foods mentioned in the game on a computer screen near the end of the game.
After we beat the game we also beat all the challenge levels. What a great game.
I’m going to go cuddle up with my companion cube now. <3

I completed this game about a week ago, which is part of the compilation pack The Orange Box for Xbox360.
The first 10 levels or so go extremely quick, but then 13-19 take awhile and are significantly more complex. There is only about 3 hours of gameplay total for one run-through… well, that is just what the save game said. It took me a lot longer with dying and thinking about how to solve the puzzles.
This game is just so innovative, and you’re really forced to be creative with the portal gun to get through. If you get stuck, try gamefaqs.
I absolutely love the personalities that come through in the game; the AI has to be one of my all time favorite game characters. And the song playing during the game credits is hilarious (which can be found on YouTube if you’re impatient).
