November goal: complete three non-scarf knitting projects

but with only 1 full November day left and half of the back of my jumper completed, I think we can safey say I won’t be accomplishing this goal.
UNLESS I am thinking of trying to crochet a scarf/ shawl for my sister, so if I finish that in time I will include that since crocheting is new to me and represents a challenge that a knitted scarf wouldn’t.
We shall see!

Yes yes, I know what you’re thinking, isn’t that the same white wool you knitted the hat from? Yes, damn you, it is, and what’s more, I’ve got three balls of it left from which I’m planning to knit a rather tasty scarf to accompany my hat as I flounce around town at the weekend.
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to complete my accessorised look with the bag, because it’s going to the mother for a Christmas present.
Just the jumper to go, eh?

Here I am, stylishly modelling non-scarf knitting project number one in the already horrifically cold great outdoors. A white hat in knit 2 Purl 2 moss stitch. It was supposed to be ribbing but someone, ahem, miscounted her cast-on stitches and ended up with this pattern instead!
Observant viewers will note that D is wearing my dubious taking-up-knitting-after-a-lapse-of-4-years-having-never-really-learnt-it-in-the-frist-place scarf. In public and everything! A good thing he is not an overly stylish individual, after all…
