    I have sucked at this—big time! I have had so much going on that I have neglected myself big time! Its not like I do not know what to do or how to do it, I just have not done it and in NOT doing it, I have done myself a HUGE dis-service.

    I am not sure if I should give up or re-set this goal. Dang.

    Nope, nada, nothing. Still, at least I have gained no weight.

    50 Pounds to go! 15 months ago

    Today, I weighed myself for the first time in a while. I have 50 pounds left. I am so very excited to be at this point. I have begun a small morning routine that energizes and invigorates me. I am also not eating as mindlessly as I used to.

    I just want to be fitter, stronger and more healthy, not sickly or skinny—which I don’t think I could be anyway.

    No loss, no gain... 16 months ago

    Been doing a lot—everything except loosing weight. At least I haven’t been gaining anything.

    65 Pounds Left! 17 months ago

    Now that Lent is upon us, I am really using this time to cleanse an purify my body, mind and home. For the next forty days, there will be no:

    • processed or refined food
    • meat products of any sort
    • alcohol

    However, there will be:

    • time spent at the Russian/Turkish baths
    • lots of fruits, veggies and grains
    • herbs, herbs, and more herbs
    • a variety of teas
    • daily meditation
    • mucho yoga and movement
    • lots o journaling!

    70 pounds left! 17 months ago

    After my holiday, school issues, etc., I gained a couple of pounds and I had to re-start. I am glad though. I have learned a lesson about stress and eating habits. I have not started exercising yet. I have decided to use January to work on my eating and nutrition habits. The month is almost over and I have been getting more nutrition into my body and a greater variety of foods—yum, eggplant! I expect to loose 2 more pounds by the end of the month as I continue to fine-tune my eating and once I begin exercising in February, I hope to loose 10-15 pounds a month!

    But at least I feel better. And I feel better because I am eating better.

    Weekend Cleanse 18 months ago

    I am spending the weekend, and for me that includes Monday, doing a a cleanse. I am hoping to continue it through next week. This will help get rid off the cold that I have been carrying around with me and a lot of the bloat and cloudiness that I feel. My body just feels so…Ugh!

    New Year, New Progress 18 months ago

    I am kinda starting this goal over. The holidays, work, getting sick and doctoral applications really threw me off. As of today, I am re-focusing on this goal. 75 pounds down…here I come!
