How I did it: Used what I usually spent going, took that amount of money, write down what I needed and then started looking in the net for trends and styles. Armed a couple of "mixed" up portfolio with the prints I made and armed with that went to the mall. Lessons & tips: Have in mind what sort of clothes do you need, then look around to have a clear idea of what you must be looking for, when you get to the Mall you already know and waste less time buying stuff you won't put on later. I want to buy new clothes and, with that, have more style options. I`m always using the same clothes and I think people perceive that, what makes me feel bad. I like Polo shirts and beautiful belts. Elegant shoes are welcome. I think that using new clothes I would feel more beautiful and confident.

I got some basics (that actually fit for once) at a great bargain at an outlet store. I also got a great purse and a blouse that is a little different from my normal style but is a step in the right direction. I am no where near a solid set of outfits yet, but I am getting there. Now if only I had more cash.

Bought a really nice top today. As my weight is gradually going down I need to replace items in my wardrobe. I am not quite size 12 yet so I will wait until I shed a few more kgs. But I did find a nice pair of size 14 pants at Portmans that would do for now though. Next pay I’m afraid!

Well, its not that its not happening, its just that I like what I already have. I know, such a guy thing to say is it not? Well, I am buying new clothes but slowly, one or two shirts a month. That way I can go through a phased approach.
