Do you want to become a better runner? Do you have that feeling of freedom and power while your running? The wind sweeping through your hair and your feet tapping the ground hitting fast and furious. Your eyes serious as a cold winter night, your heart beating and pumping. Challenging only yourself, and only imagining you on the running course, imagining only you, and not the people behind (for me) or in front.
The internet can’t do the running for you, running perfectly requires practice, and loads of it. If you don’t feel the freedom and power, sorry, but you are not a natural and you need to find a true talent. I was forced on basketball, but never felt the feeling, only when I ran down the court and was fast enough and powerful enough to beat everyone, sure you can be good, but at something else you can feel perfect. It is good to have people in your family to share your talent, that way you are a natural, well partly. You need to be flexible, fast, have a running heart, training courses, coaches, fans (to encouradge), belief, power (in yourself), the right shoes, weights (to gather strength), and so much more. If you pick running, you have to put a lot in, if you want to make a difference. I know I want to.

Hey! I’m 16, and am involved in winter track. It’s really tough since I haven’t ran in about 6 months. I really hope to improve my running in the short amount of time i have. Anyone wanting to become a better runner, you CAN do it!
Good Luck!

I am a runner
First off I am an experienced runner I run any thing from track meets cross country meets to road races and off road races.
my mile time is a 5:20 as of last years track season and this year has just started.
1. Hard Work Is Essential
2. Proper Shoes Will Help (Dont Wear any Kind Of NIKES)”Shocks Are The WORST.” they aren’t made to run in even tho the commercials show running in them there just stylish.
3.Stretching before and after you run is a major have to.
4.Know your body don’t run so much so fast that you get pains in your muscles. If you feel pain in you stomach around your ribs if you keep running it will go away.
5.In Making your workout fit you start off by distance runs any thing from 2 to 5 miles every other day depending on how you are feeling is a good stamina foundation.
6. on the opposite days run a fast workout like take telephone poles they are normally about 50 to 100 meters apart run as fast as you can between one set then jog on the others for about 20-30 minutes.
7. you can take days off to rest they are actually really helpful just not too many or you will loose the “Sweet Skills” you have acquired.
8. but your biggest thing is you cant give up.
9. running with a faster friend is good too.
10.running in packs for distance runs is also a great one although you cant stop and take breaks and you should be running fast enough to not be able to talk to them because if you can talk your not working your lungs and your aren’t gaining stamina.
If you have any major pains see a doctor they help
and dont run alone if you arend firmilar wiht the area
any questions my msn and email is k_brown_2010@hotmail.com

...was quite an experience. Even though i actually finished it, i ended up having to walk part of it, which was what i didnt want to do. I know for the next one i have to do some intense training and actually reach 26.2 miles of running prior to the marathon.

I have been running since January, and I have improved from being the worst runner to the best runner! I use to HATE running with a strongg passion, but now I absolutely love it! It feels so nice having the wind in your hair as you pass by everyone else. I love it!!

I was injured two days after my last run. I fell from the stairs. My right foot suffered a nasty gash.
The healing process took some time. It’s only just this week that my wound has formed a scar.
And I’m ready to run again.
I’ve learned not to eat an hour before running. I ate a banana wrap and drank yogurt. My abdomen hurt after a kilometer of jogging.
I struggled to recover. I took small steps, to long strides to a brisk walk.
I started to run. I got better. I’ve ran a total of about 8.7 kms. I never stopped running even if it rained.
