So, I think this is something everyone wants to do, right? I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. I look at my Sister, and see how perfect she is with her husband, and I really wonder if thats just luck, or is there really is just one person meant for you? She got engaged after just one month together, and has been happily married for nearly 7 years, with her 2nd baby on the way. They knew on their first date that they didn’t want anyone else, and they fit so perfectly into each others lives.
I think in the past I’ve looked too much onto her relationship as a guide to how things should be. Love isn’t something you can predict, or go out and find. I think there has to be some sacrifice, but you should never change who you are to fit in with somebody elses life. One thing I learnt from my Sister is that you should be best friends with your partner, I think thats really important. Just some random thoughts…
