roadtrip to Alaska

I drove with a friend from Seattle to Anchorage in 50 straight hours. At the time there were still about 200 miles of rough, unpaved road near Tok. It’s a beautiful drive, the British Columbia portion sticking out most in my mind. The pace at which we drove was stupid in retrospect. I’d suggest taking a good week and mapping out plenty of stops at hot springs and other attractions.
