How to watch all three Lord of the Rings extended edition movies back-to-back-to-back

Satisfied.
 "Watching these movies back to back made me feel like something bigger than myself."
How I did it: I started around 11 pm I believe and finished sometime around 11 am the next day. My friend and I decided to go to the store before we watched them and just load up on junk food and have a movie marathon night. She fell asleep half way through the 2nd movie, but I stayed up the entire time and by the end I was in tears because I felt like I connected with the story and I, too, felt as though I had gone on the journey with Frodo and friends. It had been a goal of mine and it felt great to have accomplished it. I felt like Rocky at the top of the stairs even though I didn't really do anything. |
