get better at my job

I can honestly say, I do not give a shit anymore. I do fine at my job.

I’m scared imma get fired.

I’m not exactly the best at what I do. And it may not look very difficult, but it is!

It requires a lot of head maths and I take a really long time and the customers get all aggravated and go complain to my boss.

And that sucks.

I just want to get good enough so I’m comfortable doing what I do. Not always nervous and having to call my boss for help.

I have a job now.

I am a scanner person at Coles.

And it may look like an easy job, but it is SO not.

There are so many buttons and numbers to remember and all these codes and everything! But I’ve had a few shifts now, and I’m getting the hang of it pretty quickly =)

Hopefully I’ll be able to tick this one off in a few months. =)

Well this is my first job, i’m almost 15 and recently i applied for a job in a sandwhich bar which sells sandwhiches (duh) and icecream and burgers and hot chips and stuff like that…milkshakes dimsims etc. etc. and i got a call from the boss. so i went in for a trial run and i got the job! but there’s so much to do! i mean i thought it’d be a lot easier….ive gotta learn how to use the cash register properly (and believe me, its harder then it sounds!) and stuff like the big carvery electric knife, and the dishwasher and milkshake machine…but for me the hardest part is remembering all the prices! there is just so much to think about and im so worried that i’ll stuff something up. But i know its just time…i mean practice makes perfect, so the more i work the better i’ll get. and its all experience, i know that ever minute i’m there i’m learning. so i’ll just try my best and hope that it gets better from here :)
