Create a Fashion Portfolio

Fashion has always been a huge interest in my life and I’ve recently (within the past 2 years) began sketching/drawing some ideas. I’ve gotten progressivly better-not where I want to be yet, but better. I really want to put together a portfolio of my ideas and hopefully create some of my designs to showcase my talent.

I’m not so happy with my current job situation, and this is my chance to make a change and hopefully persue something I have a passion for.

Really need to get some ideas together to start and make a fashion portfolio for about October time (I want to give myself approx 6 months) but at the moment I have no idea where to start, or what people are looking for in a portfolio. What materials do I need? What do I need to do? I want to create this to get accepted into a fashoin course to start in February next year, Though interviews start in November.

WHAT a feeling of accomplishment…I finally did it..it took about 6 months to build it up fully but I made a kickass fashion portfolio and it got me into my dream course in college! I start this September – woo hoo! :)

This is one of my new year’s resolutions as well..I really need to get started properly…I bought all the materials I need…now I just need to do it! I have so much talent, everybody says I do I’m just such a procrastinator, and so friggin’ lazy!!

I’m also working on a fashion portfolio to get into college next year and like you, I have never done this before! I’ve never studied art although I can draw. My goal is to do this before January!
