Climb the Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan

My dad says you used to drive for miles through countryside to get to the pyramids. Now, the city extends out to the site…I have to do this again because I was pretty young. I think maybe I was 15 when my mom said “have fun and I’ll wave to you from the bottom!” and my dad went about half-way up before succumbing to altitude breathlessness and let me continue my excursion on my own. It was a pretty easy jaunt in my youth, but I was proud of myself getting up there, seeing the view. I guess this started my long career of ruin climbing. I see a pile of rocks, I climb it. ;)
