On hold until... 4 weeks ago

...our lives are more settled, and we have a bigger apartment, it wouldn’t be fair to have a cat or dog here. Besides, right now we’re not sure whether we’ll be living in Sweden or England permanently (although I hope for Sweden), and until that is known, it’s not a good idea to get a pet.

We aim to adopt two kittens 12 months ago

We’d much rather adopt them from an animal shelter than from a family, but kittens aren’t always around for long, but we will try our hardest.

Adopted Older Pets! 22 months ago

I adopted two Mini-Schnauzers from a Rescue Group. I wanted a dog, but when I saw these two online it said that they had to be adopted together. I didn’t hesitate for a minute except over the adoption fee. It was a little more than I had intended to pay. But Daphne and Gunthur had to be mine. The rescue sent someone to check out my home and me. I was approved and I drove to another state to see them at their foster home. They both immediately jumped up on my lap and gave me lots of kisses! It was weird because I took a friend with me, but they ignored her altogether! lol I adopted them that day. They were both 9 years old. They both had been neglected. Their teeth were in bad shape, they hadn’t been groomed. Daphne had skin problems. In no time, we had all that fixed. They were the sweetest, smartest little animals I have ever met. They came at a time when I really needed them. I would advise everyone to adopt an older pet if you can. They are usually house-trained and probably will have training for walking, etc. You’ll never regret it!

I adopted a rabbit from the shelter…but I’m still holding out until I get my own house to adopt a dog from there!

Well the first part isnt so “yay” as the second part.
My cat Gerald Dean got hit by a car and died.
But. My mom and dad told me I could go and get another kitten from the shelter once we get my other cat Adolf fixed. So. I get another cat next week or so. :] Yay.
