I’ve done it partially – it depends on how to interpret “who made a difference in my life”. I joined a few social networking communities last year and invited to my profiles people that I found inspiring, who taught me one thing or another. Sometimes I wrote a note on how we met, sstill mostly I only thought about it. Now I’m going to focus on the ones who influenced me the most, and write thank you notes again, which is why I’ve just set another goal similar to this.

I wrote a nice letter (note) to my new Doctor.
He has been amazing. I saw 2 Pulmonologists prior to finding him and he’s a mere genius compared to the other 2 airheads.
I told him what a difference he made in my life.
I’m sure I made his day brighter!!

But something special written down that they might be able to pick up and read and be lifted in spirit the way they have done for me!

So many people come in and out of our lives, and at the time, we have yet to realize the difference and impact he/she is making in our lives. Then when you consider all the people who have supported you, been there for you, they fail to realize how much we treasure them dearly. Thank you is huge, simple courteous actions like saying thank you, can make the world go round, and make your life worth while. One day, I will do this, but first I must live.

Now is a wonderful time to say Thanks to people who have molded your world or turned you down a different path. I’m writing 1 to my sister who at a crucial time in my life asked me 1 simple question that changed my entire life course. She asked me, “Where were you 2 years ago (meaning my circumstances) and where will you be 2 years from now?”. I didn’t want to keep the pattern going. Wow! What an eye-opening thought. THANK YOU Sister!

1. Barbara ~ An elderly lady who is like a surrogate grandmother to my youngest son; she has taken him on vacations, set up a trust acct. for him, and taught him valuable things about life. She lives 5 hours from us and we only see her every other year.
