Hey,
I thought I’d post about my friends and I heading up Tuckerman’s every year to sled down. We take up some really awesome sleds and zip down the Sherburne trail. Get a good luck going up because you won’t see us going down, 12 years running.
People doing this are also doing these things:

This year at least I’ve got an excuse. Not a good one, but an excuse none the less. (In AUZ)
I did have a coworker go, and appearantly took a massive digger, and ended up with a few bumps and bruises to show for it. He was lucky. Next year, I promise.
Carowe42 is.
I am going to do this the February during my senior year of high school. So like two years and a couple months. Hiking would be the hardest part but I know I can do it. Can and will.
Tuckerman Ravine has become a big part of my life. I encourage everyone I can to go, and have organized trips in the past. If you want help with this check out: http://www.timefortuckerman.com

I’ve thought about doing this for a while. I know people who go every year. I think I could do it, on skiboards even, if I could get over my fear of heights. The hiking would be hard, but the end result would be doing something I’ll be proud to tell my future kids. One of the New England Outdoor badges of courage.
