travel to south africa

My friends Angela and Bernie have been on holiday to south africa and after hearing about their holiday I so want to visit there, butit will have to wait until I no longer have financial responsibility for the children cause Wayne and I can’t afford to pay for four adults to travel

What a great experience it would be to travel to South Africa! I want to see the wildlife. It would be a great opportunity to see animals exist in their own environment rather than a confining zoo environment. I would also like to meet South Africans from different regions.

If you break your big goals down into yearly,monthly, and weekly goals you are more likely to wake up where you want to be.

So far I have $900 and counting in my ING Africa Fund account. My girlfriend and I are planing on buying our tickets in Aug to go next Feb.

I live in MSP and it appears that I can fly NWest to Amsterdam and then onto JNB. Or I can fly South African Airways out of ORD. The cost is looking to be around $1800. So I am thinking maybe we can buy and get miles from friends and fly NW to a city in Europe maybe even London because they have the most flights with miles and then take a cheaper flight down to JNB South Africa?

Does anybody have any ideas or advice?

i’ve always wanted to go there .. reading about it just gets me more curious to find out more about it .. many people say it’s not easy & it’s even very expensive to go there .. yet , can’t stop myself thinking about it .. i know i’ll go there ONEDAY

Well I am dillusional and I really want to go when I have a man so basically yeah…. but if that doesen’t happen in like 10 or 15 years… well then I just guess i will go with a good friend.

Yesterday I surfed the web and found lots of info about Southafrica. I really got very very interested and I have already made a rough list of the places I´d like to see. Can´t wait to be there with the lions!!!

As you can see I have a strange name. My father named me after a Hill called Talana which is in South Africa… and I have always wanted to go see it.

One of my dreams is to travel to S. Africa. I’d love to see the joy in their lives. The way they live simply. I’d love to teach them, but, I’m confident it’d be the other way around.

I had a brilliant time there a few years back and can’t wait to go back! I was mainly in Durban and Cape Town, so I’m hoping to see more of the country the next time around. The people were largely quite nice and warm, the country was beautiful, and all in all it was a facinating place.
