just added a new goal of mine – diversify my income – which affect how I’d like to redefine work life. At least, the posting might be controversional.

being self-employed (one of my other goals) could become self-financed; based on a to be figured out baseline of minimal daily income. That might look more easily to be achievable and last better – as it implies a daily income for the rest of the days of the year too.

work as a subject is an issue I continue running into. I probably must go ahead and go public with it or with what I think about it, with what I figured out about it.
Maybe my chance to change the world – or, my destiny to change the world over that – work.
As I got rid of that poor job now, I see chance to enter a new project related to work//employment and society.
Need to see how to monetize that, but tending to go for it; at least, if there’s no new job at hand quickly.
I think, work might possibly be (double-conjunctive intended!) too polarizing as a subject to blog on. I think, to avoid to drown on any such project rock-solid sources research might be rather valuable ‘life’-savingly.
However, to blog on work or “society in 21st century” might end me up in analyzing a complex system where I might have to deal a lot with people, i.e. get what I like most.
Having learned from the development process of The Long Tail – blog on it get ponderings work discussed webwide, then publish a book on it –, me too found the first links of my work chain: ponder on stuff, twitter it, collect the tweets, sum up (, refer to external sources and provide links to them) and blog that. But, of course, I am not yet there to make use of blogging to process//produce a book.
However, I might prepare that project by drafting my theses, then go for searching sources related to these theses. I’d prefer to work bottom–up but fear the bottom-side might be far to vast. Therefore, I’m going to go to–down then, probably missing relevant parts but hoping Twitter followers/blog audience would notice that. ... BTW, I think a chance to make money might be to become some kind of messenger who prays net-originated cultural developments to boldly lagging mass media or bill-makers. Netizen might enjoy having a messenger to whom they can refer when discussing with web-outsiders.
It’s becoming clearer now: What I enjoy most is analyzing complex systems and to meet people. Why not monetize on both?
Monetize on analyzing – e.g. solving, reorganizing – complex systems. Analyzing complex system implys to compete with computers since they’re built for such a purpose. Therefore focus on areas where data is not yet available digitally. Which might imply I’d be in contact with humans anyways mostly.
I’m pondering whether or not to really launch .. keep a blog on work-as-an-issue. Work in 21st century, or work 2.o or something like that.
I’m figuring I wouldn’t like to stay with one direction for work for longer than half a year. Only exception might be when analyzing complex systems or when I could go to meet people over and over again or do both at once.
Some guy posting to the net, who tracked down the place to work at from a starting point where he declared/defined what he was willing to work in and at, inspires me.
What I also miss, is to [in this job, yet] to not to have the time to keep up with the relevant news – that news that serves me with that broad overview that’s typical for me.
To get this in an upcoming job, the “float time model” might serve this [currently ongoing] lack.
