    Worth doing!

You people do realize that you have to go somewhere COLD to see snow, right? You realize that being in a COLD place is not all cross-country skiing and sitting around a warm fire in a goofy sweaters sipping hot chocolate, right? You do realize that it’s, er, cold and sometimes painful to be cold. If you still want to see snow, just spend some time on the Canadian prairies between November and March. For a very special treat, come in the weeks in January/February when it hits -50 Celcius (with windchill)(-50 Celcius is pretty much the same as -50 Fahrenheit). Ooh la! You’d be crossing this off your list real fast if you ever experienced that!

living in ohio all my life, I’m sick and tired of snow! Yeah, it’s pretty and all that, but it’s darn cold and a pain in the rear to deal with.

I’ve lived in Florida my whole life, so of course i’ve never seen snow. I enjoy the hot weather all year round, but i’d like to see snow at least once.

    Not worth it!

It’s cold, wet, hard to walk though, dangerous to drive through, heavy to shovel, annoying to brush off your car, and boring to look at.

I’d give up winter sports and building snowforts forever if it meant I never had to see snow again.

    I guess it's worthwhile  — 4 months ago

Even if you grew up in Florida, you’ll eventually travel somewhere with snow. I grew up in Atlanta where it snows once a year so it’s still novel and not a pain. I imagine it’s not so novel in Minneapolis.

Born in Florida.... and still here.  — 4 months ago

So, It’s hard for a lot of people I know to believe it… but I’ve never seen snow. I’ve been to North Carolina a couple times, Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania, but still I’ve never seen it. My friend Celeste lives in Colorado and has been getting a lot of snow lately. She tells me I absolutely have to come and experience the snow. She loves it. LoL. Seems like fun. Although I’m kind of a puss when it comes to the cold. I guess that’s what happens when you live in FL your whole life.

Snow is so beautiful! I have never lived anywhere where there wasn’t snow, so I guess I take it for granted. However, I can still look outside in the winter and be in awe of the white blanket called snow that covers the ground in wintertime; and the hoarfrost I saw in Saskatchewan: I loved the hoarfrost.

I live in Pennsylvania so I see snow in the winter time. I absolutely love snow. I always play out in the yard with my dog. She seems like a pup when in the snow even though she’s 12. It’s so beautiful and it always makes me happy.
