Living In God's Exquisite, Miraculous Sufficiency back from break, but not a lot of time to post.
I’ve had plenty of BBQs, but more in my 20s, than in my 30s. Henry didn’t really like firing up the grill, but my first ex-husband did.

This is how you make pork pies:
Get some tin foil put a bonless pork chop in it put one green peper on it put some onion on it then make the tin foil cut the food then fill it with BBQ sauce. Put it on the grill for 30 mins… Let me know that you think.
well when i was home we went were lucky and got invited to 2 others peoples BBQs so never had one ourselves but we did invite people around for a get together. this turned out really good with some picky food and lots of drink consumed by all last people left our house just after 3 in the morning.
try and have a BBQ this next time im home from the rig have a few friends around.
lets se what the weather brings
Frannie Girl is heading off with her hubby for a few hours of relaxation.
Being Southern means having BBQ’s is not only in my roots but my family practically bleeds BBQ sauce. LOL….
We have done this before, just after we got married, but this year was the first year that I had my grand-daddy’s famous secret BBQ sauce recipe. He used to be known as “The BBQ King” in Birmingham, Alabama back in the 1950’s and early 1960’s before his death. So for decades his recipe had been kept secret by family members, but thanks to the diligence of my mother, we now have it. WOO-HOO!!!
Soooooo I don’t think we’ll host a feast this year (no time or energy) but hubby and I are making plans to host a grand Southern BBQ next Summer. Something our friends up here in the North aren’t accustomed to. I’ll make all my signature Southern dishes and hubby will make his famous chili and we’ll round it all off with some authentic, award winning BBQ.
I can’t wait!!!!!!!!!! :)
Had a lovely BBQ with a bunch of friends. My one regret is that I didn’t get a chance to talk to everyone.
But no one left hungry!
invited some friends round for a bbq, the weather was good despite the forecast, was a success!
i got a decent BBQ and then i just started BBqing. great thing for so. cal - i got a gas one - i use it more than i used my former charcoal one….
