"Don't procrastinate!"

How I did it: I scheduled an appointment with a local, low-cost animal shelter after Britches had her appropriate shots. Then, I dropped her off at eight in the morning and picked her up the next day at four. We had to be careful with her and let her rest up a bit. 

Lessons & tips: Don't let your cats lick the stitches. This was a big deal as I didn't spring for a head-funnel!

    One came into heat last month – thankfully, she was just full of love and nothing too scary. But i have 2 sibling girls, so am expecting the other to come into heat any moment now. (And i know one i write this it will most likely happen!) Am aiming for October – hope i don’t regret waiting.

    As a result of putting this off, Britches had a litter of kittens! We kept one, and Britches now has an appointment for the big snip in September. Now we just need to get Pencil (our new kitten) fixed too!
