How to travel to Barcelona

How I did it: I went for a week several years ago, as the field trip for part of my master's degree in Heritage Studies. We were visiting primarily to look at how the museums had been set up. It wasn't particularly expensive, to fly there or stay there and there are usually inexpensive deals on the internet. Go with friends, if possible!
Lessons & tips: Its a beautiful city. I had a moment of total happiness when, wandering along a small cobbled side street in warm spring sunshine, I could hear someone in the distance singing "Quizas, quizas, quizas" with a guitar. It was just perfect. The Gaudi buildings are wonderful, and I was so impressed with them that when I came home I started covering bits of my garden with broken china mosaic.

Well, apart from the rain which lasted 4 days, what a great city!!! Gaudis architecture is amazing… Definatley going again, in 20 years when the Sagrada Familia is finally finished! x

i’ve visited barcelona in july 2006 for twelve days.it has been incredible!!!just a few reasons: parc guell,sagrada familla,plaza espana,las ramblas,barri gothic,parc de la ciutadella,el carmel,playa bogatell,selva del mar(sunday nights) and much much more.the nightlife in general is fantastic
and offers a lot of possibilities.the population in general seems to be quiet young and open minded.beside that barcelona natives seem to be very helpful and relaxed.barcelona is a fantastic place for people that are looking for culture,shopping,nightlife,beaches and fun.nuff said!go there!
