How I did it: my sister lives in luxembourg, but she's moving back to texas in october so i HAD to go visit her before she left europe. we went to paris for a few days and i woke up before anyone else so that i could get into the louvre before the lines really got bad. it was FANTASTIC! How I did it: I worked after school for about a year to save money to go to Paris with my highschool French class. I went in the summer of 2003 and I wish I could go back!! Read how I did it…

Don’t miss The Louvre if you ever get to Paris. Even if you are short on time, it is worth the visit. You have to check out the Rembrandt if it’s the only thing you do (it’s very small!). A little off topic, but I would recommend the museum pass if you are going to be there a few days! The museum pass allows you to visit all the museums you want and you don’t have to stand in line
I want to be left at the Louvre for many days to enjoy the beauty of great works of art. Too bad we can’t touch.

I missed a visit to the Louvre because it’s closed on Tuesday…and you guessed it, we went on a day trip on a Tuesday. The Paris Museum Pass is well worth it, especially if you plan on visiting the other museums. d’Orsay was lovely too!
Incredible museum!
You should consider getting a Paris Museum Pass, you save money and time, because you do not have to stand in line for tickets.

Also if you are in Paris, I highly recommend seeing Sainte-Chapelle. It has the most impressive stained glass that I have ever seen.

I have spent two full day there. It’s one of my memorable trip. Must visit at least once in your life time.

I just returned from my Europtrip that included a visit to the Louvre. Found a super secret entrance that avoided all lines to the inside!
The major pieces of art I wanted to see were: da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, the Winged Victory, Venus de Milo, Borghese Gladiator, and Michaelangelo’s Dying Slave.
Due to time constraints, I only spent a short time there. I must go back someday!
Paris, je t’aime!
My wife and I have always wanted to visit Paris and of course the Louvre is a must. We have allocated two days for the museum itself and will spend the next two months coming up with a strategy of what we want to see the most in those two days.
