be inspiring

Hello everyone, I am a college lecturer and have this new passion… through my work at college I would like to find ways to inspire my students (age 17 -25 ) to become responsible and comitted leaders.

My motivation is that we all need to feel connected to the world we are living in. I believe that translating your passion into some of form of leadership can make a difference for your personal life but also for others.

i’ve passed on lots of information to everyone around me about environmental issues, quantum physics, Buddhism, et cetera. And I see it working in peoples lives, making them happier. Sometimes I find myself upset because so many people are “bighting” my style, but I try to remember that is my goal. I want everyone to strive for their best karma, do good deeds, save the earth. So I made this a goal to remind myself that it’s a good thing to spread good things, reguardless of how much credit is recieved.

Since I feel inspiring, I think that means that I am inspiring. Goal achieved.

and community are being so very gentle and supportive with me through walk of me journey in life something completely wonderful happened this week.

My pastor stopped by to check on me. We talked about a whole varity of subjects, the kids and their situation, my Mennonite leanings and why (which she supports my beliefs), our church (Christ Congregational), and life in general.

Pastor and I got on the subject of dreams and goals and the future. I heard in my pastor’s voice so much hope and light for the church and what she would like it’s future to be, so much hope in her voice!

I suggested for her to write down her top ten list of hopes and invite the congregation to do the same. We spoke of different aspects of her hopes and dreams.

Then I suggested to her to invite the congregation to do the same and take the top ten of everyone’s list and shoot for them. (Of course I told her about this site and all of these ideas about the hopes and goals was inspired by here).

The month of May will become the dream month. A place where the congregation can come together, find unity and a common outlook.

While pastor tells me that I inspired her, I don’t believe that our conversation and the subject of this came directly from me, but rather it was time for the church to take this direction.

people are inspiring when they are free from fear (x) and therefore able to be themselves. in my humble opinion (x) the only way to acheive this is to let jesus into your soul (x) because when he is within you (x) you can do anything (x) and his dreams for you are so much greater than your own. be radical; live life on the edge; know him intimately … and let him (x) show you how to live! (would anyone else know better than your creator??) (x)
