Deal with some outstanding debt issues.

The outstanding bill to the Dentist is paid in full!

One less worry, one less responsibility that feels shirked.

Next week’s paycheck discretionary money is going towards paying a lingering bill to Autumn’s dentist for $125 dollars. I know that seems a pitifully small amount of money to have let go unpaid for 6 months. Bottom line is, we just didn’t have $125 laying around anywhere these past 6 months. Now we do. It’s a good feeling to be taking care of it, especially because her 6 month checkup is coming due and I can’t very well take her there owing money.

We have owed my sister some money for about a year now. Same story as above. I am beginning to pay her off in small increments. That way, I have no excuses each week…and slowly but surely we’ll pay her off and make good. By the end of March, I will have that debt down to $322. I anticipate fully paying her off by the end of July. Ironically, she is now in some financial hardship herself, and I think the steady $20 I’ll pay her each week will be of a tremendous benefit to her. So her own loan is now going to help her out.

The entire month of April, we are going to be focusing our discretionary money on paying one big debt and taking care of a mess that came along with it. It’s complicated, but suffice to say the actual payment of $400 will be worth a million dollars to my peace of mind. Beyond that I’d not like to delve.
