this is probably the best place i have ever been on holiday.. i have been going back twice a year for 5years.
it is full of the most laid back and friendly people you would ever care to meet. i have two young children and it is perfectly safe.
i have been to most places in tunisia, but i absolutely love Skanes, Monastir.
its eductional and heart warming to visit tunisia, and quite an eye opener at times.
im due to fly back in October, to visit my boyfriend, who is tunisian.

I’m glad i decided to spend my vacations there. Tunisia is a very good and interesting country. I also had a 2 days trip to Sakhara desert and traveled trough all the country – that was amazing!

ruins, beaches, couscous! too bad my only vacation is in the summer months, when it’s like ridiculously hot in almost all parts of africa.

to be honest i was a bit disappointed. visited tunis, sfax, sousse, tozeur, djerba, hammamet, etc.
only saving grace was tozeur with the great brick-work and wonderful palmerie. wish i had more time to get deeper into the dessert.

cause its the most beautiful country for sure… half my heart lives there

I married a Tunisian. We have two little boys. My husband’s family still lives there. We visited Tunisia in 2003 and we are planning to go back this summer. I had a great time and the people were very friendly. Tunisia is an awesome country with a culture like none other! I would highly recommend going there. I hope someday I can go back.
