just 18 years ago. And now she’s off to university… They grow up in a blink of an eye! What I would do to be able to live those 18 years one more time…

the importance of doing this hit home again yesterday, when my hair stylist told me she was evacuated for 2 weeks by the flooding of Duck Creek, and lost all but about 50 of her pictures, old and new. Just hearing that made me sick; I need to step up my own efforts.
I told her about this goal and she said that since they were finally moving back home, she’d immediately upload, and probably save to CD, her remaining photos.
Yep, everyone has problems ….
I only got another 15 photos dealt with, I made real progress on getting the albums and other “stuff” on the computer desk put away and organized.
This is the cat my family got when I was 3 – I insisted upon naming her Kitty, because in my little brain that was the only proper name for a cat! :D She was quite a hunter, and a very well-behaved creature.
I scanned, uploaded and captioned about 60 really old photos, which also helped me with my declutter goal, as it got a photo album and a baby book off the computer desk and put away where they belong.
This one is Easter morning when the girls were teeny. I sometimes miss those days.
been spending more time uploading new photos to my photo site lately, but a couple of days ago I did do about another 12 – 15 old ones, also. Having a really hard time with both because our home computers are just in a snit lately. :(
was terribly happy with my behavior as she was trying to cut my hair. Ya think? We won’t go into what year this was…
since I had to scan a couple of pictures from our Girls Day Out St. Paddy’s celebration, I might as well scan another 2 dozen old pics also. This was taken on Christmas Eve, and blondie is my oldest, and she was subsequently in many ballet costumes for recitals through the years. The dark-haired ones are my nieces.
and I wanted to cry.
I am dyin’ to get to the beach for some sand, sun, and surf. It really would do S.C. some good.
This beach was about a half an hour south (on motorcycle) of where I stayed.
Truly one of my fav places on Rhodes. Makes one wonder about who lived there and what life was like. Is life actually better now or would I be better off there during that time? Being repeatedly overrun by forces from all sides – Persians and Turks, then probably not.
of Lindos that I love so much.
I really wish I could go back again. Rhodes is an amazing place for me. Not the greatest experience because of who I was with, but the island is spectacular for its history, beauty, and architecture.
