Can organizing photos for other people can be done? 2 years ago

I want to organize photos for other people. I am wondering if this service was affordable and I figured out a way to organize other people’s photos to the best of my ability based on time period, subject matter, and faces, do you think this would be something people would be interested in? Personally, I would love to hand over my photos and let someone put them into a format that is organize and protected for me, even if they weren’t exactly is the perfect chronological order.

Thanks for any opinions!

picasaweb.google is quite useful, especially when you want to show your pictures to your friends!

Today I ran out half an hour before the shops were to close and went…. ALBUM SHOPPING!! Wahey, such fun. Very quickly checked out the selection in the local shopping centre. Typical Winnie the Pooh and Recycled Paper and a couple of really nasty ones.. all satisfactory candidates. But not for me. Then I found a really basic green one, nice and big, with that sticky stuff inside so that you can put in photos of any size?! I love it. So very much. So I bought it, happily it was also the cheapest and I’ve opened it up and checked it out and it seems just perfect. Any size photo, indeed any size anything. Finally all those metro tickets and concert stubs I’ve held onto come into their own. And sketches and notes passed in school and any flat thing that I possess. I am beyond excitement. I have passed over into ecstasy. Next week I’m gonna leggit down there after work and pick up a few more albums and some supplementary sticky sheets, before the stock is gone. That shop is temperamental like that. I must act fast, now that I’ve found something so perfect. If you had one shot? One opportunity? To seize everything you ever wanted… Would you capture it? Or just let it slip…?

Eminem was definitely talking about photo albums.

13 days left!? 2 years ago

Holy moley. Gotta do this pronto. I’ve organised the photos into primitive piles. I think I’ll put all these photos that I have printed into one pile and make an album out of that. In the first years of my life [basically before I got a digital camera] I didn’t take a million photos, like I do now. So, I can put all the pictures, of years 13-18 in one teenage album. Then I’ll get more albums for all the photos [see other goal] that I have to take off my computer and print. I don’t think I want to put my photos in a boring old album though, cus I can never find one I like, with the right shape and way of sticking them in, and space to write. I think I’ll make my own, so I can have a million different page styles, depending on the style of photo, and necessary space for notes… now there’s an idea…

Oh. Jesus. 2 years ago

16 days left? I have let this goal fester at the top of my list, my eye darting past the yellow box intented to seize my attention, for as long as possible. I’m going, right now, to make some primitive piles of photos for later, more extensive sorting. Tomorrow I window shop for the perfect albums after work [boo work].

A super easy way to organize your photos in to albums!! 2 years ago

Try this: www.togetherbook.com they have two ways to organize your photos in to cool high quality albums. Simply send in your loose photos or try out the new upload feature. If you upload your photos, you can choose to have them printed on either 4×6 or 5×7 archival matte paper. This is not like iphoto, these are actual photos!!! It makes printing and organizing those digital photos a breeze!! They also gave me a 10% off coupon that they said I could share: LAUNCH07

My mother has a ton of old photos, all different sizes and types. Some are even the old metals ones. I want to scan them all and print them and put into albums. Its going to take a long long time.

Got my books back today from [ together ] book...they look great. 2 years ago

Fedex was just here and dropped off my [together] books from www.togetherbooks.com They turned out great. Now I wish I had actually forked for the stamping on the covers…oh well..I have many more photographs to send in…think I will try to do 3 books a month…that’s 300 photos organized each month and I’m guessing I will be done with all of them in 6 months! :)

This makes organizing easy and I love getting things in the mail!
