at first, going vegetarian for me was a bet fueled by my competitive-ness. but, after the month was up and the bet was over, i decided to stay vegetarian. and after a whole year and a month, i’m still going strong. :].
dad’s always been somewhat of a supporter of mine.
but he hatesss anything that substitutes meat.
he doesn’t try and talk me out of it, but is constantly offering me things like a steak or burger.
meat makes me gag… :\
Ive decided that being a vegetarien was gaining me nothing, only eating barely anything but junk food, which was making me fat. *sigh—my family has meat like every single meal. maybe I will try to become a vegetarian again when I move out.
I’ve been a vegetarian for six years. It’s not hard at all to stay vegetarian, and I am definitely more healthy than the average omnivore. I’m also not overweight!
well, i became a vegetarian on february 21, 2005… after coming back home from Taste of Chaos in Jacksonville, Fla. i watched this Peta2 video that i got at the show, and i began researching the subjects of animal cruelty, and Fast food industries… and i decided i didnt want to live a lifestyle that promoted those sort of things… so i have been strong since then, although i did slip up and test myself, to make sure that was what i wanted to do… its a long story, and you can ask me about it… but i am still vegetarian, and i find it easy yet hard at the same time to continue… i dont think i will change for my health is better, and i feel i am a better and stronger person for it!
