find a place to live

I need a bit of help on this one. My current situation is that I’m living at home with my parents, but it’s so far away from most of my friends and things to do. I want to settle down in Mississauga so I can start my life there – get a job, start a workout routine, take some classes, etc. That’s the hardest part though; I’m not sure where to start.

I really need some way to pay for it – so I’ll need a job in Mississauga first. Then the classes will come after.

My mother is kicking me out a week after graduation.
We just have too many problems between us; she thinks I’m the worst person out there and I think she’s a dumbass.

Basically, she’s kicking me out because she decided that she didn’t want to change her social security for my finical aid because I have an attitude. Seriously, if I did have an attitude, that is still no excuse to mess with someone’s future and trying to blackmail then into behaving the way you want them too. I’m sorry, but no matter what, I believe that there is no reason to mess with someone’s future so no reasons.

So, I’m moving.

I found out from my realtor/step-mom that we were approved by the association today to move in on Sunday! I’m so excited! God has bless me and my hubby so much.

My best friend said I could live with her for a little while and save some money. The only reason why I am accepting is because I think she could really use my company right now because her dad is probably dieing from cancer and I don’t think she does well when she lives alone. So we are definitely helping each other out a great deal and I’m really happy about that. Lucy is also going to benefit because I will probably start sending her to daycare so that B doesn’t have to deal with her all day long. I guess I found a place! Even if it is temporary.

I may end up living with my mom again, I don’t know. I was talking to her, and I may be able to move in there. I don’t really like the idea of living there again to be honest, but it’s better then living nowhere.

But it’s not easy when you’re extremely close to homelessness…

and has roaches, and a kitchen in a closet, and took me forever to find, and i had to walk six miles in one day because the landlady is a—

...at least it’s mine.
right?

i’ll fix it up real good.

and done.

I move tomorrow evening. Ack! No job in my new hometown yet and savings is running- er, has run- out.

Student loans get disbursed in four days.
must.find.work.
cannot.pay.rent.with.next.semester’s.tuition.

After our wonderful but brief affair with Sacramento, it is time to move on once again. Thanks to my boyfriend’s wonderful skills as a graphic designer and his wonderful boss who appreciates his potential, we’re headed for the bay area on June 1st.

So far it’s looking like Berkeley or maybe Alameda.
I’m excited to start yet another new chapter in my life, and look forward to being in a place where I’ve envisioned living since childhood.

Getting there is another story. I’m stressed about finding the right place and physically moving our stuff/ cats…

Could I BE any happier?! Found a place where I actually want to stay.
