How to learn to moonwalk

How I did it: Just got inspired by Jacky's awesome moonwalk.Tried to do it on my own but couldn't.So I logged onto Youtube and watched a few moonwalk tutorial videos and kept practising it for 2 days.Got it in the end finally.The most important part was the flow.Once you get the much needed flow,assure yourself that you can do it and try to maintain the confidence and momentum.Confidence is the key.Cheers ! Lessons & tips: The secret is not to get too conscious about the walk.Just do it and keep doing it without stopping in between because it can stop your flow :) |

How I did it: Youu tube! just keep watching youtube videos n practice any time u gt n even show ur friends and ask if it looks good :) it took me 2 weeks but it well worth it n its actually quite fun to do once u gt the hang of it Read how I did it…

I can do this a little – I practice in the gym studio when its pretty empty as there is a mirror there :)
It is easier if you ‘mince’ ie take short steps. I find I need to maintain a balance and to maintain the same height throughout for it to look good. The longer the stride, the harder to maintain balance.
Another important part of this is to keep the foot that I am dragging back parallel to the ground. Anything else, and it looks bad (well, worse).
I’m not sure why I’m bothering with this, but hey – why not?

I’m giving up, because, as much fun as it is to moonwalk, I’m not nearly cool enough to ever do it in public. Ever. I’m better off learning how to do the Hustle or something

This is one of those things that i’ve always had in the back of my mind as something that’d be really cool to know how to do. bet i can probably learn how to from a you tube video.
