go to the Woodford Folk Festival

OMG! The Woodford was the best thing I think I’ve ever done. Roaming around the festival on mushies, listining to Kate Miller Heidke & Josh Pyke.

I can’t wait until next year.

The Woodford Folk Festival is the most amazing place on earth.
I had the best week there. Even though I’ve been back for a few days, I can still feel myself readjusing. There’s something special about being surrounded by 2500 artists and musicians and countless healers and beautiful people.

Woodford this year was simultaneously incredibly challenging and amazing. For starters, it rained like I’ve never seen before! Oh my gosh, I’ve never seen mud like it! The first night while trying to dance at the ampitheatre I found myself up to my ankles in mud. And it only get wetter from then on! But it was fun nethertheless :)

I learnt so much about myself at Woodford this year. I came closer to knowing how I want to live, and who I want to be. I saw heaps of amazing speakers and musicians. I passed into the new year sitting with my love by a lake, under a tree, in the rain, talking about our dreams and listening to a Beatles singalong. It doesn’t get more perfect than that.

I know I could never describe the experience adequately, but needless to say I’ve returned feeling inspired, transformed and soooooo happy that I went.

I’ve got my season camping ticket!
Now I’ve just got to get a tent…..
Woodford is amazing. Everytime I go it is really transformative. I can’t wait to run around like a dirty hippie for a week!
