My son was given about $20 in change when he danced & played the harmonica – I thought that was pretty cool.
I enjoy dressing up & telling stories. I used to love reading the kids bedtime stories & for me, street performance could be an extension.

We made several appearances in the local farmers market and played for the crowd. It was a blast. The crowd gave us a great response most of the time. It called for another type of music however, not the same stuff one would play in a club. It needs to be louder, and faster, with some good visual elements.

I had a total case of envy because my stepsister did what I’d wanted to do: become a musician. After I stopped hating her for that and talked to her, I realized I could take the summer off and go to Ireland and do it there. It really was a great thing to do. Most days, I made enough for the B&B and my food—and I really wasn’t all that good (I sometimes joke that I play “Rhythm Mandolin.”)
Anyhow, I sometimes want to do it again, but a summer was long enough to get it out of my system.

Self-explanitory. I’d just bust out my guitar and play the day away.
