study linguistics

i’m starting this year, i don’t know much about it..but that’s why i’m there, right?
I need to read and have a look on the basic ideas, read about Chomsky’s theories…etc

CAN ANY ONE EXPLAINES TO WHY THE FIRST WORD THAT ESCAMPES FROM THE BABY’S MOUTH IS “DADA”??

in college. I’m putting this on hold for now.

I don’t have any real interest in doing this anymore. I may try to focus more on business than academics.

I want to have a firm grasp of the fundamentals of Syntax and or Semantics. While I don’t plan on taking anymore classes (Linguistics was my minor in college), I want to knowledgable in the topics covered in a 300 or 400 level course.

I can’t believe so few people want to do this. It’s the best thing to study! Not the most useful, but hey, it’s the most interesting, at least in my opinion! Definitely signing up for Linguistics 101 in university.
