Make my living space, scared space.

I spent a few days getting all my clothes in order and getting the floor picked up. about half the room is clean now. I also bought some nice flooring at a garage sale and I got some left over paint from my mother. Nothing like being frugal! I need some nice carpeting for the bed area, but so far so good. Nice clean walls and a new floor in the bathroom will go miles.

All the crap in my room, I finally got the bed fixed so now I have floor space again. I’d live to have a room made of nothing but bamboo and hemp. It might happen one day, right now I’m glad to no be sleeping on the floor anymore.

I got my room cleaned up and now I can start decorating things. I also found all my decorations and I want to get all decorated for Ostra/Easter.

But the mess is all things I want to keep, I managed to eliminate three larges boxes of stuff and one is going to the RRFM this month. Now to organize and decorate!

I am starting the process of sorting my possessions…I’ll get back when I’m done…

This weekend is going to be spent throwing away things i don’t want/need anymore. What isn’t donate-able or that I can give away I am going to toss, I imagine most of that will be trash anyway.

I’ve been putting up selected treasured objects and artwork. Being selective is the key :) I am enjoying actually seeing things instead of having them hidden away for ‘later’. Later (and someday) never comes.

I have been making small but important improvements. I also am exploring (with more concrete action than in the past) owning my own home much sooner than I had realistically anticipated. Giant steps forward!
