right now. I’m doing a big purging of my list getting ready for the new year and realized that until my house is completely void of excess clutter, I don’t want to worry about this goal.

... for the first time in years last night to put a poem I wrote when I was at my lowest moment with my exhusband. It’s something I don’t want to lose even if it’s not that good, because it helps me live in that moment and pull from it. I was very surprised to see that I already had done this a bit a long time ago! I had folders in there with “story ideas” “partial stories” “finished stories” and a few similar tags on them.
This is far from a high priority right now, but I think it’ll slowly become one as I find old stories of mine and want to narrow down the ideas. Funny how I read about this in a book, but when I used to be more organized the idea came naturally. I look forward to having this done and really working on it regularly. I’m pretty sure that having this organization will help me greatly in making my ideas come to light. :D

all about becoming successful in the horror industry and one of the things the author recommended was having a filing cabinet that’s filled with little folders of paper clippings and notes you’ve taken for different projects that you’re interested in working on. I have all my notes for my ideas spread out over millions of notebooks (only a slight exaggeration) so when I read this, I thought it was pretty much the best idea ever.
I already have a filing cabinet that’s filled with stuff from when I was in high school… which I definitely don’t need it for. So now it’s time to start cleaning out the files in there and replacing them with files on all the amazing ideas I have with books, cause there are a ton damn it. And I don’t want to forget any of them.
