My tattoo is a very large peace sign on my back. It isn’t near finished. I designed it. It means a lot to me, but I have run out of money for such things.
The peace sign has John Lennon’s self portrait, a VW logo, a VW Bug, and a VW Bus so far. In the end, it will also have words that say “Imagine Peace” and around the outside it will say “Free your mind, and the rest will follow. Be color-blind, don’t be so shallow” Those are the words from a song by En Vogue.
The top will have a frog climbing over/ hanging on.
I am thinking about 2 yrs before I have the cash to do this…

It’s been a year since I got the outline of my tattoo going across my shoulders! Bummer. I can’t believe it’s been this long. I used to drive about 2 and a half hours to see my tattoo artist and he moved back home so it’d only take me about 30 minutes! No excuse! And he’s even cutting me a deal to finish it.

i marched into the shop with a design on a celtic band for my arm meaning ‘friendship’ – the tatoo was a present from my three friends, SR, CS and KM – the guy convinced me to get a spiker version that doesn’t go all the way round and ends with mushrooms! I really wish id stuck to my original version as it was way more feminine (guess i was a bit of a tomboy in my younger days) – anyway – my plan is to save up for tattoo removal cream, remove the mushrooms and get it completed all the way round!

Well, the first 1/3 is done. The Human-Dalek DNA strand goes from the top of my wrist, wraps around and ends up on my shoulder. Unfortunately I won’t be here in Austin long enough to get it finished. I’ll just have to find somebody in the SF area to complete it. Poor me. ;)
Yes, 1/3 finished and the balance to complete will be great once it is done. Yay!
