... getting rid of all the stuff I have and don’t need to survive. Ideally it would be a suitcase and nothing else, but realistically I wouldn’t mind having a few sentimental objects and valuable pieces of furniture tucked away in storage. We shall see.

I live out of a suitcase for almost a year. Traveled to Toronto, Morelia (mexico), Ohio. Now I have a family and a good job, but It helped me learn that I don’t have to be stuck in one place.
as much adventure as i thought this would be, it’s getting frustrating. packing, unpacking, packing, unpacking. living out of a suitcase is great, if you always have an iron around. it’s just hard. it’s not that i don’t love traveling; i want to have a place though. A REAL PLACE. where all of my stuff is in an actual home. when everything is settled, it stays settled. no more squishing collard shirts with dresses into oversized duffle.

so, for about a couple weeks, i had to live between houses. i lived out of a suitcase. again. it’s not quite as fun living out of suitcases as i thought. but it’s still something that i’m glad that i’ve had the opportunity to experience. i’m sure that i’ll be doing it multiple times for the rest of my life…i just hope that i’ll have a permanent address somewhere in the world by that point.
