Worth doing!
it’s so easy to get distracted.. just have to stay focused on whatever task at hand
and what a feeling when you get something done!

Worth doing!
I am going to say that I’ve accomplished this. I’ve finished two books, and accomplished things that I promised I would do for others, and have been more accountable to myself. I’m on my way.
When I look around my room, I see about six half-read books, ten bottles of perfume 1/4 used, two million lipsticks I don’t remember I have, five different bottles of shampoo in my shower, clothes I forgot to take back, and a parking ticket I forgot to pay. That’s just a glance, I’m not looking very hard.
I want to simplify and live a less-is-more lifestyle.
Today I’m going to pick one thing and work on it until it’s finished and then will continue on with something else so I can get the small things done in the background. First, task 1: Finish reading Prozac Nation
Still haven’t managed to install discpline. Working at it though….

I think I need to whittle my things down to 25ish things. There are too many daily things I have to do PLUS those that are on this list. Makes it more managable. Besides, I like the number 25.

looking through my “things” I think I am going to reorganize… so far I think 1-10 would be goals that I need to get short-term (1 day to 1 week.. I dunno, maybe even a month) That way, I feel like I’m actually getting stuff done. 11-15 up to a year to complete and anything beyond that are 16+
given that my days are pretty busy anyway, I think that’ll break down stuff I need/want to do and get some progress on them.
that´s what got me to this website. i just looked up finish things on google and got here. and then, although i´m sceptical as always, i just decided to write. and i´m writing because i just want to finish what i start. and there are two big projects i want to work on – i don´t know if i´ll ever finish them, but i´ll finish the little projects i define within the 2 big ones. They are: create video art and expand my freelance business. I just don´t spend anytime at all on these 2 things and they are the most important things in my life other than my little family and a fulfilling social life.
That happen with me with all stuff.
I have music to listen, books to read, language to learn, programming language to master, game to make, games to finish, oh boy !!!
Im glad that im not the only one who have this…. ( little weird to say )

Working at home has its advantages.. but I’m finding that it’s harded to allocate time to chores… there’s no separation between work time and house-work time. plus there’s kid time that HAS to be worked in there.
Why is there only 24 hrs in a day?
My problem is that there is SO MUCH I want to do in life. There is a lot I am capable of doing. However, most of it requires patience (which I don’t have), and perseverance. I start things with a bang, and great devotion. But once half way through, I get impatient to do all the other things I want to do. And the result is that I have got lots of unfinished things going on, rather than few finish things. The temptation of something new just gets to me … but that is why I want to stick to one (or maybe two) things, and finish them, before I start something else.
Hopefully, this site shall inspire me. Or at least encourage me a little.
