Have friends round for dinner more

Me and my husband bought a huge table when we moved into our new house – it seats up to 12 people. We have all the gear – the plates, the dishes, the wine glasses. We really thought we’d be socialble. Huh! Then we had a baby, and that plan went to the dogs!!!
She’s three now, though, so we really ought to dust off the icecream maker and the griddle pan. Oh, and remember to invite somebody over….

With good results! Most recently was last Saturday and earlier this summer I hosted my biggest dinner yet, four people (including me!). But since I have a small place it’s hard to get much more seated around the table than that so who knows how much further that’ll get in terms of size!

Did this last week – cooked some kind of duck thing without turning it into rubber.

It’s not having folks over at my place, but Rob and I have been invading Dari’s apartment once a week to cook dinner and watch DVDs. The current feature: NewsRadio Seasons 1 and 2. Last night’s dinner: fajitas (pronounced fa-jI-tus).
