Messaged uni friends today, friends from home are taking it really well, look forward to talking to them when I go back.
Not sure what uni friends will make of it but so far things have been happily uneventful.

How to come out as an atheist

How I did it: I just finally said " I don't believe in god in any way, shape or form" one day. I was sick of people shoving their beliefs down my throat and having to accept it because it is socially acceptable. Ideas should be challenged, no matter where and when they come from. |

How I did it: Wrote a blog. Told my husband I wasn't a Christian anymore. Mentioned I was an atheist or a former Christian if religion ever came up. Told my mom, brother, dad. Read how I did it…

Tried to get people together to do things, but it’s already too late, people are going back to uni, jobs are restarting etc…
So I sent them all a facebook email, annoying as that’s not what I wanted to do in the first place, but at least it’s done.
Next up, uni friends

After these Christmas holidays I won’t see my christian friends for a good while, so I need to get them together and tell them ASAP.
