Comic sans is evil. It’s ugly, ridiculous and despicable.
It’s for people who don’t take responsability for what they write. Using it means “I know I’m boring, but I hope you won’t notice it because I use this cool font.”
I hate comic sans.
lunakat805 is taking the day off!
I took it to the parlor with a rope and a candle stick!
I am Montessori teacher of pre-school-aged children. Recently I saw a list of questions to be asked at job interviews for guides (teachers). It was in comic sans. Honestly, if I was handed a list of questions in comic sans my respect for the administration of the school, or at the very least, for the person handing me the list, would drop dramatically.
On a related note, there is a professional publication in my field that is printed entirely in comic sans. I was considering taking out a subscription for this magazine for my school, to give to parents as educational material, but I just couldn’t. How ridiculous would we look offering them a publication in comic sans as a serious parenting resource?
Maybe it’s really just me…
I had to stop playing the Sims because of all the comic sans. Curse you, wacky Maxis people.
I almost tried this financial planning website moneypants.com but I decided I couldn’t stand all the comic sans. I wonder if they know that people are being driven away from their site due to their choice of fonts. Or maybe it’s just me.
This is the single most disgustingly unprofessional font that is used regularly in professional settings. I guess people think it is cute and informal? God, I hate it.
