I want to look nicer so I can change the way I see myself and the way others see me.

iluvmacca67 wants some freedom!!
I’ve gone shopping several times, but not by myself. I find it helps to go with someone who’s more fashion forward as I tend to go for things that are questionable, or at least used to be.
Fads here in California have gotten so bohemian and vintage that I don’t know whether to be happy or pissed off. I’ve been called a hippie, partly from my appearance, though I know that’s not the real reason. I remember people looking at me like I have been stuck 4 decades behind but apparently that sort of thing is “in” now?!? What the hell man?!
As for makeup, I’m a teen so I’ve learned some things on eye makeup, that being my favourite. I’m not getting a haircut (instead I’ll be growing it out very long) and hopefully will finally look like I’ve always wanted to.
I’ve completely forgotten about this goal. I think, without even intending to, I’ve already accomplished this goal.
I’ve cut my side bangs a few days ago so they look nicer, I’ve gained more fashion sense, I’ve gotten my ears pierced and I should be ready to wear those new earrings in a couple weeks, I’ve finally figured out how to use foundation and concealar and I’ve figured out a makeup routine that works for me. (Which consists of only black eyeliner)
I’m so happy. The first goal I’ve managed to do. So far. =D
Started out with some extensions, then highlights, then both. I never get called “pretty” though, only “sexy”. Maybe it’s my butt. I’ve got a big ol’ butt tacked onto a slimmish body. In any case people are starting to notice me again.
lost two kilos (5 more to go). I’ve been exercising almost everyday and I am on a diet.
My friend Leah is the apex of fashion. She dresses like Sienna Miller and looks like she walked out of the cover of Vogue magazine everyday.
A group of us (Leah and myself included) were talking about how drab we looked at the end of the school year.
“You don’t count,” My friends and I said to Leah.
“Well, you don’t either! You always look nice!”
Really? Thank you.
If she thinks I always look nice, then I know that my goal was achieved.
Score.
1 – Identify main problem areas
2 – Come up with solutions for each problem
3 – Find ways of implementing these solutions.
I started training college two years ago and while one might think of it as an improvement it hasn’t been for me. In actuality pursuing this certificate has been a waste of time that has put a hold on my lifelong resolution to continue improving myself. Now that I’m seven exams away from my financial and physical freedom I’ll start where I had in the beginning. My looks. New hair. New makeup. New clothes. New me.
yesterday i dyed my hair with nice and lovely highlights and i spend a good 25 minutes straightening it.
now i need to buy new clothes. back to new clothes goal then!
ok, today i went and bought a pair of jeans that “fits”, and to my surprise, i was down one size…...woooooooooooo hoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!
also colored my hair today, in fact, am sitting here in front of the computer waiting for the color to take….it’s a small start, but it’s something…
maybe tomorrow i’ll even put on make-up!!!!! gasp
