In Utah This Week has a column called Scene in SLC. They’re planning to write an article about me, tentatively slated for February. Previously, I’ve been interviewed by the Salt Lake Tribune, and appeared on Park City Television about other projects. The attention was a big help to the causes. These are all passive PR—waiting around for people to ask me if they can write stories. I really need to get more active about my PR.

My Mission: To journal the course of one years events on a weekly basis. For those of you playing at home, that works itself out to 52 installments. The goal is to see if a poet can find true love in 365 days. I am here to see if dreams really can come true, and maybe to tempt fate a little.

Hi,
Please visit my newly created blog and see if there’s anything you like and feel free to leave comments or feedback. Thanks.
Broadcasting and Cable Magazine interviewed me for their August 22, 2005 print edition...and did a pretty fair job of reporting, with the notable exception of mis-spelling the name of my blog sigh
I honestly can’t think of that many famous bloggers, just the ones that seem somewhat popular on sites like BlogShares. Being written about in print seems like the next step to getting your blog read by the masses. I could live without the world reading about my life, though it would be nice to be recognized for my writing.
Sure, the first time is a massive rush. But it doesn’t make a big deal to your traffic. Unless the Washington Post / NYT / Globe & Mail / National Post cover you there isn’t a massive traffic boost (I’ve had all of these cover me… And a link from a prominent blogger does better for my traffic than any of these publications).
Anwyays, keep it up, write a new and intelligent opinion and you’ll get found eventually :)
