Wish Sanev/Cookie a Salad Cream Birthday November 30th

it came and went, and i missed it….bit of a stranger lately. you are well-loved, and it looks like you had plenty of salad cream.

Hope your BD was very special, I’m sure Roxi made it that way. I thought I had already sent you a BD wish, but somehow didn’t get it done on the 30th.

to make up for being so late i thought it would be a wonderful idea to give an orange a creamy smile. but the salad cream turned out runnier than i thought and, well, now it looks a bit frightening. hope you had a lovely day and have a brilliant year to come!

I have to admit that I’ve never really liked the nickname Cookie, no matter how much it fits. To me, he’s Sanev. It was back when he was calling himself that, that he and Roxi were commenting back and forth with me which brought them together. I miss those days when they, along with Josh, Brian, Tambear and the others were so active here. Enough being maudlin though, this is a celebration of another year closer to 40. All the cool people are 40. Not that Sanev isn’t cool in his own sheepy kind of way. He’ll just be more cool when he reaches that landmark. So my dear friend, here are my birthday wishes for you for the coming year:

May you continue to adapt to being in Canada, from learning Canadian to finding a job, learning about hockey to making new friends. May you always do the right thing in regards to your wife, even if it means you have to go to Ikea. And may your travels always be safe, yet full of adventures and good memories.
