How to study witchcraft regularly

Begun 2 months ago

I began my study of crystals again last week. Learned some awesome facts about quartz crystals. Did a bit of an experiment with quartz.
I also studied a meditation form.
I am going to study peridot next, and the third chakra.

Lisa and I are getting together on Samhain and doing ritual and her place in Toronto. It’ll be a wonderful get together and we’ve started preparation early. I’ve had to restock a few items and purchase a few new things. The next day (Nov. 1) we are treating ourselves to a personal spa day – and I’m going to get some chakras opened! Self improvement and de-stressing – here I come.

witchcraft is my heritage, my ancestry, my herstory. i think every moment a woman is alive and breathing is a moment of pure witchcraft – the craft of staying alive amidst a persistently patriarchal rule, amidst greed and destruction so contradictory to the practices of witchcraft. so i breathe and i practice, i study and i practice, i say aloud i am a witch – and i am one.

The path never really ends 3 years ago

This should always be on the to do list. There’s never an ending point when you can say, ok, I’m done learning and practicing and studying the art of witchcraft.

The more time you spend developing your inner skills the more centered and balanced you will be and capable of experiencing your own power.

Some might say that to know something is to walk the path on a daily basis. Studying Witchcraft is no different. However, I wonder how many that study it would consider themselves Wiccans, or do they separate the craft from the religion?

I guess I’ve always felt that there is a difference… that you can have a craft or a job without believing in a Divine power. This baits the question, can you have Magic without the Divine power?

It also brings to mind the question of how can someone have a religion that does not include the Magic or Power of the Divine?

There is much to think on this subject and as usual, I ponder one question and in doing so, I open the door for thousands of other questions to tumble in.

Blessings,

So today I spent my time reading up on reincarnation and past life research very interesting. Even though it is related i know I need to study more on the actual topic but the people I work for would not understand me bring a book to work on the subject of witchcraft so i read books that as less likley to cause problems, but I do try to read every day I haven’t been so good about it these last few weeks so I want to get back into the habit,

Too fun 3 years ago

Its not so unrealistic like so many people think! Its a real religion, a real truth, with real ways to believe. If you’re thinking about it, but dont know where to start….go to a bookstore, grab a book and start learning what its all about. That should get you on your feet!

I have been not only studying, but practicing this, since I was born. It helps to come from a long line of magickical women.
