write for the school newspaper

Went great! I just submitted my article for the next one and it’s perfect!

first issue comes out this friday . . .

So, after two years of trying to write for the official school paper and baulking, I’ve set up my own departmental newsletter that I edit/write every month. I love doing it, and I love it when people tell me they love reading it! I’m currently looking for other people to work on it with me…I might try to write for the “Real” paper again, but I’m very happy with what I’m doing now. Does this mean this goal’s accomplished?? :|

i sent my application in a couple of days ago, and i couldn’t have asked for better reccomendation letters from my teachers. i have a feeling i’ll be accepted onto the staff, but we’ll just have to wait and see…

Being on the newspaper staff was the best thing that happened to me in highschool.. the 3 years I was involved pretty much defined who I was.
