How I did it: I was cranky one day about doing the same shit day in and day out and I decided I wanted to rebel and get something pierced. So, that weekend when I went on a kick ass trip to asheville with a bunch of friends, I stopped at a piercing place and had them put in a hole. Lessons & tips: Just go someplace that you know is certified and clean. I only let professionals do it - no trainees. And make sure they use a needle and not a gun. How I did it: you usually hear bad things about getting it done with a gun because most places arent steral and/or people dont clean it right. i got it done at piercing pagoda in the mall and there the gun doesnt even touch you! and dont worry about the stuff you hear from all your friends it doesnt hurt and doesnt get infected unless you dont clean it like you should! ive had mine and its fine! at first it was just a little red but that was it! no swe… Read how I did it…

How I did it: My mom really didn't want me to - she has a rule that while I'm living with her, I can only have 2 piercings (1 per earlobe). But I really wanted it, so... I convinced her to let me make the decision, and I did. I had gone with my friend that day to get her tragus pierced, and that made me want to get my cartilage - so I went to the mall (bad idea) and got one on each ear (one in the middle, one on the upper part). I have to wait until I grow out my hair a bit. Surprisingly, my dad didn’t freak out over my triple lobe piercings but cartilage is new territory. haha

It seems the happier I am with my life, the less this matters to me as a goal. It’s definitely not a coincidence. I still think it would look cool, but I have no plans to get this done anytime soon :)

If I get this done, it will be with a piercing gun. I know that’s “bad” or whatever, but that’s what most people around here usually do, I guess. The thought of the pain and possible infection scares me a bit, but I think it’ll be okay. I think I only want one side done, anyway. If I do get this done, it will be awhile from now, just in case I grow out of wanting it or whatever.

I had my boyfriend’s mom do it with a gun, she used to be a cosmetologist and did piercings like that a lot back in the day. I decided I wanted mine done, so she did it. It hurt like hell, not going to lie. It burned a lot when it went through. But a few painkillers and a night of sleep and now it’s just sore. It probably would have been a less painful experience had I done it professionally, but whatevz! I’m a trooper, and I like it.

used one of those hollow needles, didn’t hurt, and put this loop right on. I could sleep on it the first day and onward no problem ! Swiveling it and removing the crusty bits hurts in a way that it’s orgasmically like popping a zit. This must be one of my erogenous zones because when something clangs against the piercing that I’m not expecting, like my phone for example, I get very aroused.
first time i had this area pierced it was with a gun for 5 bucks and a little asian chick who said “oops!”. badddd bad infection, rainbow pus squirted all over my friend when she yanked it out of me. bad scarring. horrible jewelry. and ron said it was in completely the wrong place or something and could have shattered precious innards. you guys, GUNS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE USED FOR CARTILAGE. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY FOR SANITARY PLACE WITH A NEEDLE BY PROS. ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN LIKE ME YOU MAY WANT TO SPLURGE ON JEWELRY TOO.
Yeah I layed down freakin $110 in total for this one thing. So I wear loud and proud.
